What you'll do...
The Group Director, Data Analytics - Business Analytics and Tools is a senior leader in Walmart Connect, responsible for driving the analytics and decision capabilities that power Walmart’s retail media business. This role will lead a shared services organization responsible for data, analytics, insights, and internal tools to support Walmart Connect leaders in optimizing revenue and productivity as well as making high-quality decisions. Serving as a trusted advisor to Walmart Connect leaders, the Group Director translates complex data into clear executive insight, influencing decisions on growth strategy and capability investment. Operating as a cross functional connector, the role partners closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Global Tech, and Operations to align analytics, business insights, and technology to enable disciplined execution at Walmart’s scale. Operations Analytics & Decision Enablement- Own and evolve Walmart Connect’s enterprise business analytics framework based on single-source-of-truth data.
- Influence and collaborate cross functionally to measure KPIs, OKRs, and decision metrics that connect operational performance to business outcomes.
- Deliver automated insights, diagnostics, forecasting, and scenario modeling that enable leaders to proactively manage cost to serve, supply constraints, and growth opportunities and tradeoffs.
- Standardize metrics, performance drivers, data definitions, and measurement methodologies to ensure consistency, scalability, and comparability across Walmart Connect.
- Translate cross‑functional inputs into cohesive business reviews that synthesize performance insights, execution risks, and operational themes in standardized views to enable leadership to assess business health, identify issues, and align on best actions.
- Ensure compliance with the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), partnering closely with Total Rewards, People Partners, Legal, and Sales leadership to validate plan design alignment, operational execution, governance requirements, and accurate application across systems and sales motions.
- Set the strategy for sales analytics tools, dashboards, and performance enablement platforms that support seller productivity, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and influence adoption of analytics tools, automation, and scaled reporting solutions aligned to Walmart’s enterprise technology ecosystem.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements for analytics platforms, data products, and operational tooling that embed insights directly into sales and operational workflows.
- Ensure analytics and tooling capabilities are scalable, compliant, and positioned to support Walmart Connect’s growth and evolving business models.
- Establish and lead enterprise operating cadences for analytics driven initiatives, including prioritization, milestones, resourcing, and success metrics.
- Anticipate and manage risks across commercial, operational, and technology portfolios using scenario analysis and data-driven risk assessment.
- Drive accountability for outcomes by connecting execution metrics to revenue and cost performance.
- Strategic thinker with strong operational judgment and analytical depth.

- Experience in retail media, advertising technology, marketplace platforms, or digital commerce.
- Experience with large‑scale transformation, technology enablement, or operating model redesign.
- Experience building or scaling new commercial capabilities.
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or Technology.
- Strategic thinker with strong operational judgment and analytical depth.
- Skilled in navigating complexity and driving clarity through data.
- Ability to build strong cross functional partnerships across Walmart Connect and the broader Walmart organization.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $192,000.00 - $384,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
