You’ll collaborate closely with product and data engineering while owning model quality, insights, and measurable impact.

What you'll do...

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into product development, educational and outreach campaigns, and operational processes.
  • Identify fit-for-purpose data sources, run initial data quality checks, and translate product questions into modeling approaches.
  • Evaluate and tune models using appropriate metrics (e.g., ROC, RMSE) and robust validation practices.
  • Partner with data engineering to deploy, scale, and monitor models in production.
  • Communicate results through clear visualizations and stakeholder-ready narratives.
What you’ll bring...
  • Ph.D. or master’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
  • Strong applied ML background, including deep learning and embeddings; GenAI experience is a plus.
  • Experience with recommendation and/or search-style problems beyond collaborative filtering-only approaches.

  • Experience with generative AI methods and/or recommendation + generative approaches.
  • Experience with big data and orchestration tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with health and wellness products, services, or research environments.
  • Experience in retail, eCommerce, and/or omnichannel domains.
