A results-driven Lead Software Engineer who executes multiple business plans and projects by aligning priorities to customer and operational needs, removing obstacles, and driving performance through clear standards, continuous monitoring, and adaptive strategies. About the team
The team is focused on building workflow and approval orchestration solutions that support a wide range of financial services needs. Our work enables business processes to run smoothly, reliably, and at scale across multiple regions.
Our solutions are built using modern technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and React, along with emerging capabilities like AI. We also make use of cloud-native platforms such as Azure and data storage technologies including SQL and Cosmos DB to deliver scalable and resilient applications.
In addition to building and enhancing these platforms, the team works closely with business users and customers across regions such as the US, Canada, China, Chile, and Mexico. We help address product requirements and feedback, which means our team plays an important role in shaping and delivering capabilities that meet evolving business needs
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices and workflow systems using Java, Spring Boot, and distributed architecture patterns
- Contribute to AI/GenAI-driven capabilities such as intelligent automation, RAG-based solutions, and document processing workflows (preferred)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business workflows and integrate backend systems effectively
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and production issue resolution
What You’ll bring
Bachelors/Masters degree on computer science, software engineering or related area
10+ yrs of experience with strong expertise in modern application development using Java, Spring Boot, React, cloud, and data platforms.
Architecture experience in building scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
Business partnership to translate product and stakeholder needs into effective technical solutions.
Technical leadership through mentoring, standards setting, and influencing cross-team decisions.
End-to-end delivery exposure across design, development, quality, and continuous improvement.
