About the team:
The Salesforce and Seller Acquisition & Onboarding team is essential to the Marketplace ecosystem, responsible for designing and scaling the global platform that supports the complete seller entry journey. The team develops robust global acquisition funnels, automated onboarding workflows, and complex multi-platform integrations connecting Salesforce, cloud microservices, seller portals, and AI-driven analytics. As a Principal Engineer, you will address distributed systems challenges, optimize APIs, and establish architectural standards to enable international marketplace growth. This team drives innovation and delivers scalable, high-performance solutions that empower seamless seller experiences worldwide.
What you'll do:
Define and drive end-to-end architecture across Salesforce, GCP services, seller portals, AI platforms, and analytics ecosystems.
Lead Salesforce architecture, implementing scalable workflows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and API-first designs.
Design and scale cloud-native microservices, event-driven systems, and data platforms on GCP.
Shape the strategy and architecture for seller-facing and internal web portals, ensuring high performance and usability.
Integrate AI/ML and LLM capabilities to automate onboarding, risk assessment, and personalized user journeys.
Enable data-driven decision-making through analytics pipelines and business insights.
Lead large-scale solution design, integrations, and technical governance across global programs.
Mentor engineering teams, promote architecture excellence, DevOps, and best practices.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience leading platform engineering initiatives, delivering scalable infrastructure and reusable tooling aligned with strategic roadmaps.
Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed system design ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
Strong proficiency in software development lifecycle management, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and incident response.
Demonstrated ability to architect AI/ML integrated applications using languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
Skilled in providing technical leadership, mentorship, and influencing architectural decisions across multiple teams.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional stakeholders and drive business-aligned technical solutions.
