About the team:
This team oversees safety, security, and compliance at the Walmart Optical Lab in Crawfordsville, IN. They develop and enforce protocols aligned with regulatory and corporate standards, including Occupational Safety and Health requirements. The team manages emergency responses, monitors security systems, and supports training initiatives to maintain a secure environment. Collaborating with internal and external partners, they address safety concerns and investigate incidents to protect associates, assets, and information. Their work ensures a safe, compliant, and efficient facility that supports Walmart’s operational objectives.
What you'll do:
- Develop, communicate, and implement security processes and practices aligned with business needs and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and external partners to identify risks and address improvement opportunities.
- Lead and participate in teams to coordinate work assignments, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory standards such as PCI, OSHA, and Life Safety codes.
- Respond to emergency situations with tactical security measures and incident command protocols.
- Investigate security breaches, threats, and policy violations, providing mitigation and reporting.
- Support development and training of security protocols and programs.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote a safe environment.
What you'll bring:
- Proven ability to develop, communicate, and implement security processes aligned with business needs and compliance standards.
- Experience collaborating with teams and business partners to analyze information and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements including PCI, PII, OSHA, Fire Code, and Life Safety protocols.
- Skilled in emergency response tactics, including incident command, threat management, and crisis response.
- Ability to conduct investigations, assess threats, and provide tactical security support in various scenarios.
- Effective relationship-building skills with internal and external partners to promote a safe environment.
- Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and fostering a culture of accountability and respect.

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.40 - $33.60* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
