The (USA) Distinguished, Technical Program Manager leads complex, large-scale technology programs by defining goals, managing cross-functional dependencies, and driving end-to-end system solutions. About the team:
The Walmart Global Tech team leads large-scale, cross-functional programs that drive innovation in supply chain and customer experience. This team manages complex technical projects using advanced technologies such as big data, machine learning, AI, and real-time analytics. Members collaborate closely with software developers and stakeholders to design scalable, high-availability systems. The team emphasizes effective program management, technical design, and change management to deliver impactful solutions. It fosters continuous improvement and operational excellence while navigating evolving business needs, ensuring alignment across multiple disciplines to achieve strategic goals and enhance customer satisfaction worldwide.
What you'll do:

• Define and manage large-scale program goals, stage gates, and key deliverables across multiple teams and timelines.
• Lead end-to-end technical solution design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and system architecture standards.
• Identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, risks, and ambiguities to maintain program momentum and clarity.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and scalable workflows to enhance engineering efficiency and delivery velocity.
• Engage stakeholders to secure alignment, communicate progress, and facilitate decision-making across complex initiatives.
• Mentor team members on best practices in program management, technical design, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Monitor program performance, manage budgets, and dynamically adjust plans to achieve successful outcomes.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in managing large-scale, complex technical programs with cross-functional dependencies and resource constraints.
• Proven ability to define program goals, stage gates, critical delivery paths, and key deliverables for multi-area initiatives.
• Strong expertise in technical design, including software, systems, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, securing buy-in, and resolving conflicting priorities to drive alignment.
• Proficient in risk management, issue resolution, and dynamic roadmap refinement to ensure program success.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and improving processes to enhance delivery velocity and quality.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights and influence outcomes effectively.

The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
