Role summary:
The Senior Manager, Software Engineering, leads platform-level execution of software systems, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and roadmap milestones. This role oversees infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks that support scalable, secure development while driving full lifecycle management across multiple teams. The position champions DevOps practices, cloud cost optimization, and technical excellence to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role fosters innovation, mentors engineers, and manages complex initiatives to meet business objectives with a focus on continuous improvement and operational success.
About the team:
The Data Ventures team advances supplier-facing analytics by integrating data engineering, product intelligence, and supplier experience. They develop a centralized, role-aware intelligence platform delivering real-time insights into key business metrics. Their solutions enable dynamic, self-serve analytics and replace offline workflows with AI-driven forecasting and recommendations. Focused on scalable data products, the team directly influences supplier health and supply chain performance. This collaborative environment prioritizes innovation, technical excellence, and delivering actionable insights that empower suppliers to make informed decisions efficiently.
What you'll do:
  • Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones.
  • Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure, and reusable development.
  • Drive full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, promoting and managing large scale application with Data acumen.
  • Manage cloud cost optimization and enhance automation, telemetry, and tooling using AI to reduce operational friction.
  • Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities, track progress, and deliver complex technical initiatives on time.
  • Foster innovation by identifying opportunities for process and product enhancements.

What you'll bring:
  • Extensive experience leading platform engineering teams and managing software development lifecycles across multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to oversee AI/ML system integration, ensuring architectural alignment and scalable, secure solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Software architecture, Full stack application development, managing large scale application with Data acumen
  • Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, aligning technical initiatives with business goals and domain priorities.
  • Proficiency in mentoring engineers, promoting technical excellence, and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Solid background in project management, milestone tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to drive timely delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with sound technical judgment and adaptability to evolving technologies.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
