Role summary:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the vision and strategy for a complex product or product family, leveraging deep customer insights and market analysis to drive impactful business outcomes. This role requires independent ownership of product direction, mentoring of peers, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will manage product lifecycle activities, prioritize roadmaps, and apply data-driven decision-making to optimize performance. Your expertise in technology and agile methodologies will support innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering scalable solutions that meet evolving customer and business needs.
About the team:
The Fulfillment Automation Software team develops and scales advanced automation solutions across Walmart’s fulfillment network. This team manages third-party automation software and integrates it with in-house Warehouse Management Systems and Warehouse Control Systems to ensure seamless, reliable, and cost-effective operations at scale. Focused on innovation and continuous improvement, the team leverages data-driven decision making and agile methodologies to enhance product strategy and lifecycle management. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the team drives impactful solutions that optimize fulfillment processes and support Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence.
What you'll do:
  • Own the roadmap and backlog for 3rd-party automation products and software for fulfillment center, ensuring alignment with enterprise supply chain objectives and long-term scalability
  • Lead cross-functional alignment and vendor governance, partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Data, and automation vendors to drive prioritization, incident resolution and performance accountability
  • Act as escalation point for automation software incidents and systemic issues, driving root-cause analysis, prioritization, and durable fixes rather than short-term workarounds
  • Lead onsite and remote execution for system deployments, including testing strategy, validation, cutover planning, and post-deployment measurement
  • Define and monitor system performance and stability metrics, translating insights into prioritized roadmap improvements and measurable business impact

What you'll bring:
  • Product management experience leading complex platforms within fulfillment, warehouse, or highly automated environments
  • Strong understanding of WMS/WCS systems, automation software platforms (e.g., ASRS), and system integrations across internal and third-party ecosystems
  • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and scale, managing competing priorities
  • Experience operating in incident-heavy environments, with the ability to prioritize effectively and drive structured execution under pressure
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management skills, including vendor oversight and accountability
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and ability to translate system performance insights into product and operational improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and operate as a trusted partner to senior Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain leaders

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
