Join the Developer Experience and GenAI Platform team, focused on enhancing developer productivity through innovative platform solutions. This team partners with engineers and product leaders to design and deliver scalable, user-focused software integrating advanced AI technologies. Members engage in the full software development lifecycle, prioritizing quality, performance, and continuous improvement. The team emphasizes technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and proactive problem-solving, collaborating globally to build impactful developer tools and services that support Walmart’s technology ecosystem and business objectives.
What you'll do:
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
- Lead full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
- Conduct system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards.
- Integrate AI/ML components and develop intelligent automation features using multiple programming languages.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence through documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements and track success metrics.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to build scalable and resilient systems.
- Strong proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and platform development to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.
- Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
- Ability to conduct system design reviews ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and project goals.
- Skilled in mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions to promote engineering excellence and sustainability.
- Data-driven mindset to define metrics, optimize processes, and deliver high-quality software products.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and collaborative communication with cross-functional teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
