As a Software Engineer III, you will contribute to the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and delivering high-quality code aligned with business requirements. You will manage project components, support continuous integration and deployment, and mentor small engineering groups. The position demands strong technical acumen, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering sustainable, secure, and maintainable software that supports organizational goals and enhances operational efficiency.

What you'll do...

• Collaborate with product, project, business, and user experience teams to develop high-level designs for small to medium projects.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues by performing root cause analysis and developing effective solutions.
• Translate project requirements into technical solutions, conduct coding, unit testing, and ensure timely delivery.
• Support business users by providing technical guidance and identifying sustainable implementation strategies.
• Lead and mentor small engineering groups, providing documentation, direction, and timelines.
• Develop automation scripts for CI/CD processes and implement telemetry features.
• Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and evaluate change requests for feasibility.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in software design, development, and delivery within Agile environments.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and coding languages such as JavaScript, Python, or C#.
• Expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation scripting.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, project management, and UX.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS and software testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated capability to lead small engineering teams and mentor associates.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and coding languages such as Java with Springboot and event-based implementations such as Kafka.
