About the team:
Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) provides comprehensive fulfillment solutions for Walmart Marketplace sellers, enabling scalable and efficient business growth. The team comprises Engineering, Product, Business, and Analytics professionals collaborating to develop innovative supply chain features such as inbound inventory simplification, preferred carrier programs, and personalized forecasting. This dynamic group focuses on delivering high-performance, scalable solutions through iterative development. As part of this team, you will contribute to defining technical architecture, driving engineering excellence, and supporting platform scalability and cost optimization while working closely with cross-functional partners to meet evolving business needs.
What you'll do:
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities.
- Lead full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Conduct system design reviews to ensure quality, feasibility, and architectural alignment.
- Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components using modern programming languages and platforms.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, data-driven decision making, and knowledge sharing.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
- Strong experience in software development lifecycle management, encompassing coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in API design, software prototyping, and application of software design patterns for secure, modular, and maintainable solutions.
- Ability to integrate AI/ML components and develop intelligent automation using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, and C++.
- Demonstrated skills in platform engineering, tooling development, and infrastructure to enhance engineering productivity.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
