Role summary:The Senior Manager, Data Analytics leads the development and execution of data strategies that drive business insights and operational excellence. The team supports Walmart Real Estate by enabling timely, data-driven decisions through advanced analytics and comprehensive data strategies. Experts in data quality, visualization, and business intelligence collaborate across departments to identify key data sources, maintain data integrity, and translate business needs into actionable insights. Utilizing statistical analysis and big data techniques, they address complex challenges with innovative tools and methods. Committed to continuous improvement and effective communication, the team guides stakeholders to achieve measurable business outcomes aligned with Walmart’s strategic objectives.
What you'll do:
- Identify and evaluate data sources aligned with business requirements and service level agreements to ensure data fitness and quality.
- Translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using advanced analytics and automation techniques.
- Design and implement effective data visualizations to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Develop and apply data strategies that optimize data management, quality, accessibility, and governance across multiple domains.
- Lead exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Mentor team members, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement in analytics capabilities.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in data analytics, including data architecture, engineering, and quality management.
- Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL, and knowledge of distributed data stores.
- Strong expertise in advanced data visualization tools and techniques, including Python, R, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Ability to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions using statistical and analytical methods.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, mentoring associates, and driving business-aligned data strategies.
- Deep understanding of data governance, quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance related to data privacy and security.
- Excellent communication skills to present insights and influence stakeholders effectively.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 3: 6 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.1 year's supervisory experience.
