Role summary:The Senior Analyst, Sourcing plays a critical role in supporting sourcing initiatives by managing supplier relationships, analyzing cost structures, and contributing to negotiation strategies. This position involves gathering and interpreting market data to develop sourcing proposals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. The role requires strong communication and analytical skills to ensure timely decision-making and continuous improvement. The Senior Analyst also supports operational activities and fosters a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence while driving value through strategic sourcing and supplier performance management.
About the team:
The Dairy Sourcing Team manages all Private Label supplier partnerships within the Dairy Department. This team develops and executes strategic sourcing plans by collaborating with cross-functional partners to meet product demand and quality standards. They oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement aligned with company goals. The team drives innovation, monitors supplier performance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Members maintain high ethical standards and foster a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and operational excellence in sourcing and supply chain management.
What you'll do:
- Support sourcing activities aligned with the supplier matrix and contribute to cost negotiations based on component pricing insights.
- Develop product, market, and industry knowledge to inform sourcing proposals and project execution.
- Coordinate supplier quotations and samples to ensure timely decision-making and objective achievement.
- Assist in planning and executing buying trips, including itinerary setup and negotiation finalization.
- Maintain and update supplier performance data and contribute to business reports for sourcing management.
- Collaborate with quality engineers to address supplier-related quality issues.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to support sourcing plans and continuous improvement initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
