Role summary:The Senior Data Analyst will leverage advanced data management and analytical expertise to identify, integrate, and assess business data sources, ensuring high data quality and alignment with organizational objectives. About the team:
Our team supports Transportation for Walmart U.S. eCommerce by translating strategies into scalable network configurations that enable fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery. Collaborating with Network Planning, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Carrier teams, we configure, validate, and implement transportation network changes across fulfillment centers, stores, sort centers, distribution centers, and last-mile carriers. We ensure launch readiness through rigorous validation, governance, and execution, reducing operational risk while enabling new capabilities. Combining technical expertise and operational knowledge, the team delivers transportation solutions that impact millions of customer orders daily, bridging strategy and execution effectively.
What you'll do:
- Identify and evaluate data sources aligned with business requirements and quality standards to support accurate analysis.
- Perform initial data quality assessments and manage data cleansing activities to ensure reliability and usability.
- Translate complex business needs into data-driven solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to align analytics with strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports that effectively communicate insights to business audiences.
- Apply statistical and exploratory data analysis techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Support data governance by promoting data quality frameworks and compliance with relevant policies.
- Mentor team members on data analysis best practices and visualization techniques.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in data management, integration, and quality assurance within complex business environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages to extract, analyze, and validate large datasets.
- Strong understanding of business systems, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into actionable data solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to perform exploratory data analysis using statistical techniques and relevant tools.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
