Role summary:
The Senior Analyst, Operations plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing operational initiatives by designing project plans, managing timelines, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. This position drives process improvements, develops and implements scalable operational tools, and provides expert guidance to ensure alignment with business objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and communicate progress to stakeholders. By fostering effective partnerships and applying best practices, the Senior Analyst contributes to delivering results that support customer needs and organizational growth within a dynamic environment.
About the team:
The Quality Assurance team is integral to the Last Mile Delivery Incident Management program, focusing on enhancing decision quality through risk-based monitoring, KPI tracking, and trend analysis. The team collaborates across functions to identify defects, strengthen controls, and implement scalable process and product improvements. Responsibilities include reviewing incident decisions for accuracy and policy adherence, delivering performance reports, and partnering with Product and Operations to drive corrective and preventive actions. This team’s efforts ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence, supporting Walmart’s commitment to effective and reliable delivery services.
What you'll do:
  • Design and organize project plans, timelines, and deliverables to support operational initiatives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to analyze, implement, and recommend operational processes.
  • Develop and manage project requests, resource allocation, and communicate status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Identify root causes, propose data-driven solutions, and make recommendations to improve operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and enhance operational tools, reports, and customer-facing functionality.
  • Implement scalable best practices and tracking mechanisms to support business growth.
  • Provide expert guidance on operational strategies and support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Proven experience in operations management, including project planning, resource allocation, and process improvement.
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to engage stakeholders and convey project status and outcomes clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as product management, merchandising, and engineering.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing operational tools, scorecards, and tracking mechanisms.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
