What you'll do...
Role summary:As a Principal Product Manager at Walmart, you will lead product strategy across multiple related products, driving organization-wide decisions through deep expertise and data-driven insights. This role involves shaping long-term product vision, managing complex customer problems, and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. You will oversee product lifecycle management, promote best practices, and guide strategic prioritization using advanced analytics. Collaborating with senior stakeholders, you will ensure alignment with business objectives while mentoring peers and elevating product management standards across the enterprise.
About the team:
The WFS forward deploy team integrates third-party seller inventory into stores, positioning high-demand items closer to customers to accelerate delivery and enhance experience. This team collaborates across functions to drive product strategy, manage roadmaps, and apply data-driven insights. Focused on innovation and operational excellence, the team develops scalable solutions optimizing supply chain and product lifecycle management. Members contribute to defining product requirements and promoting continuous improvement to address evolving business needs and customer expectations effectively.
What you'll do:
- Shape and drive product strategy across multiple related products, leveraging deep domain expertise and data-driven insights.
- Own complex customer problems and product requirements, considering upstream and downstream impacts.
- Develop and manage product roadmaps ensuring strategic alignment, technical feasibility, and resource prioritization.
- Establish scalable mechanisms for gathering and interpreting customer feedback and product usage data.
- Guide teams in defining success metrics and validating product outcomes through multi-layered analysis.
- Influence enterprise prioritization and promote strategic vision across senior stakeholders.
- Mentor product managers and elevate product management best practices across the organization.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in product strategy and roadmap development across multiple related products.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in data-driven decision making, leveraging analytics and user research to inform product direction.
- Deep understanding of product lifecycle management, including MVP rollout, risk mitigation, and long-term evolution.
- Ability to define and communicate complex product requirements and customer insights at an enterprise scale.
- Skilled in shaping product vision using Whole Product concepts and hypothesis-driven approaches.
- Experience mentoring peers and elevating product management practices within an organization.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
