Marketplace Tech drives a rapidly expanding platform that connects customers with third-party sellers by transforming complex data into actionable insights and production-ready models. The team enhances seller success, customer experience, trust, safety, and growth through collaboration with product, engineering, and business teams. Members define success metrics, conduct experiments, and build predictive and causal solutions that deliver measurable impact. Expertise in data science, machine learning, Python programming, and data visualization supports addressing complex challenges and advancing the platform’s continued success. The team values technical excellence, innovation, and clear communication to achieve strategic goals.
What you'll do:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered systems and intelligent automation solutions.
• Translate domain-level strategies into system-level implementations, ensuring architectural integrity and reliability.
• Champion DevOps and CI/CD practices to maintain operational readiness, observability, and performance of services.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural decisions, and incident analysis to drive quality and resilience.
• Mentor engineers across teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high standards in software delivery.
• Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, automating processes to enhance engineering velocity and system scalability.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in designing and building scalable, cloud-native software systems and AI-powered agents.
• Strong technical leadership with experience owning system-level execution and aligning architecture with domain strategy.
• Deep knowledge of reliability engineering, operational due diligence, and continuous integration/deployment practices.
• Ability to drive operational excellence through code reviews, incident analysis, and automation of manual processes.
• Skilled in mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of high standards, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Sound technical judgment with agility to adapt to evolving technologies and business needs.

The annual salary range for this position is $169,000.00 - $338,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
