Your New Role:
The Product Management team within Enterprise Data & AI Solutions (EDAIS) is a group charged with transforming us into a data-driven enterprise. We scale customer obsession and use data to drive business strategy, innovation, and improvements to customer needs. This position will manage a team that works across data architecture, engineering, analytics, and governance as the liaisons to business stakeholders and helps drive the organization to measurable results.
Your Role Accountabilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Lead a team of Product and Technical Program Managers: Oversee hiring, mentoring, performance management, and team development.
Define product vision and strategy across multiple areas: Understand business objectives, clarify strategy, and align to a cohesive roadmap focused on delivering key outcomes.
Communicate how product-level goals fit into larger divisional goals: Ensure alignment between team efforts and organizational success.
Product Planning & Execution
Manage portfolio and intake process for assigned areas: Oversee how new initiatives are evaluated, prioritized, and integrated into the roadmap.
Ensure ROI: Prepare business cases to ensure initiatives are a value add to the company.
Manage the product backlog: Hold regular meetings with customers to align needs with business objectives and manage prioritization.
Prioritize product needs for the team: Collaborate with project teams, define sprint goals, and write user stories.
Provide oversight by owning the products through development and delivery: Ensure quality and timely execution of product initiatives.
Uphold a standard of excellence for product performance and UX: Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all new releases.
Practice excellent written and verbal communication: Tailor messages to different audiences, balancing business and technical perspectives.
Discover and articulate technical requirements and dependencies: Collaborate with development teams and third-party partners.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders: Conduct regular meetings and present opportunities based on technology strategy, vendor roadmaps, and market research.
Set key performance metrics and track data quality: Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making.
Data Strategy & Systems Understanding
Understand Data Flow: Analyze and map how data moves across enterprise systems to ensure consistency, quality, and accessibility.
Drive Data Quality: Organize and lead initiatives that deliver high-quality, trustworthy data to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experiences:
8 – 10+ years of experience in a data-driven team.
3+ years of management experience.
Ability to function effectively and consistently when faced with frequently changing and sometimes ambiguous goals.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, as well as working in collaboration with other product managers towards a common goal.
Experience with reporting and analytics tools.
Proficiency in SQL.
Comfort level with ambiguity and ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
Confidence to dive into data, understand it inside out and how it connects to our business stakeholders.
Champions the capabilities and benefits of analytical data assets. Partner effectively across departments and stakeholders.
Solid business acumen, critical problem-solving ability, with a capacity for strategic thinking.
Extremely strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and negotiate across cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding and experience with development methodologies, including waterfall and agile.
Ability to learn project management tools in order to continuously improve effectiveness.
Excellent written communication skills with ability to translate complex business concepts into clear requirements.
Strong business acumen that balances strategic initiatives and engineering needs.
Not Required but preferred experience:
Public speaking and presentation skills.
Familiarity with media sector a plus.
