Your New Role...

As a Rights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting the administration of rights data and budgets, ensuring seamless operations and expansion into new markets. You will collaborate closely with the EMEA Programming and Acquisitions team, providing essential support to Max EMEA and HBO Europe. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with complex rights flows, create and maintain detailed overviews and spreadsheets, and engage in various rights-related tasks. ** This role is a 12 month fixed term contract **

Your Role Accountabilities...
  • Enter, update, and manage complex data, program rights, and program information in the rights management system, ensuring content rights are up to date according to contracts and legal documents.

  • Validate and process invoices in the rights management system, providing supporting documentation to the finance team when needed.

  • Administer programming budget files, proactively maintaining them.

  • Create and maintain complex rights overviews, PowerPoint presentations including tables and graphs, working closely with contracts flow and 3rd party rights owners.

  • Support intercompany rights administration, creating rights overviews and amendments, controlling invoices, and managing the rights flow.

  • Provide rights reports to the business and stakeholders using query tools.

Qualifications & Experience...
  • Solid administrative background.

  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Preferred experience with a rights management system and complex rights data.

  • Experience working with budgets and financial tools.

  • Experience with query tools to create data reports (knowledge in SQL preferred).

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

  • Good knowledge of TV/SVOD rights.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.

  • Ability to maintain a strategic overview while keeping high attention to detail.

  • Solid administrative skills and ability to process high volumes of complex rights data with excellent quality.

  • Thoroughness and ability to follow up, ensuring no loose ends.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Self-reliable, motivated, and a fast learner.

  • Responsible and enjoys an agile working environment.
