The Klyachko lab builds and utilizes advanced biophysical approaches, including multicolor 2D and 3D super-resolution imaging, electrophysiology and computational tools to study the mechanisms governing synaptic transmission and excitability in healthy neurons. We have also recently expanded our efforts towards understanding synaptic dysfunction in Alzheimer’s disease with the particular focus on the role of glia in this disorder.Job Description

Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
