The role of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst is to work with various areas within WashU IT SIEE and Information Security to help drive IAM access control initiatives in support of internal policies, practices, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.The IAM Analyst works closely with IT and cybersecurity groups to gather IAM compliance requirements to design and implement IAM reporting and analytics across all SIEE IAM systems in support of IT and cybersecurity initiatives. Develops, documents, and communicates the appropriate controls and plans to achieve compliance with requirements. Identify, research, report, and recommend potential remediations to findings.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create and monitor reporting and analytic processes for all systems where IAM validation is needed of process success.
- Lead investigations into incidents that may indicate failed processes, drive root cause analysis, and ensure any remediation tasks are completed.
- Develop and conduct tests of documented processes to ensure desired results.
- Identify potential risks and report to SIEE Senior Director. Open and track tickets with various IT departments.
- Participate in IAM projects and initiatives to ensure that reporting and analytics are established as part of project transition to operations.
- Manage departmental projects as assigned.
- Participate in audits and review reports to identify potential risks.
- Establish exception tracking and reporting practice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IAM and DE IAM best practices.

Base pay is commensurate with experience.The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
