Coordinate clinical research studies and the care of patients in the Movement Disorders Center, Department of Neurology.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruitment of study participants and direct assistance with Parkinson disease, dystonia and other movement disorder studies.
Assess potential participants for eligibility criteria.
Recruit/Schedule/Consent all participants and maintain contacts for retention.
Follow up visit coordination including interim histories.
Coordinate research activities for MRI, PET and behavioral studies:
- Prepare and maintain research study related documents (IRB forms, protocols, study budget and contracts).
- Consent potential research participants.
- Document all research activities.
- Perform clinical assessments, including clinical rating scales.
- Perform videography of motor ratings/gait analysis.
- Place and manage iv lines for PET scans.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals.
Coordinate other clinical study activities as needed.
- Collect and handle laboratory tests.
- Manage arterial lines.
Maintain regulatory protocols.
- Handle all Human Research Protection Office (HRPO) protocols and reporting.
- Handle all Radioactive Drug Research Committee (RDRC) protocols and reporting.
- Handle all Federal Drug Enforcement (FDA) protocols and reporting.
- Maintain PETDAT information for documenting radiopharmaceutical administration.
- Assist and manage regulatory information for all RDRC protocols under the authorized user authority.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location.
- Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirements).

$27.01 - $46.19 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
