Position Summary
In Support of Medical Physics Division Performing function of Quality Assurance for B-J Radiation Oncology patients.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs ionization chamber QA measurements.
- Performs radiographic film QA measurements.
- Performs radio chromic film measurements.
- Portal imaging fluence measurements.
- Ensures that laboratory and work area comply with Department health procedures with no violations or exceptions.
- Conducts behavior in professional manner while conducting clinical duties.
- Keeps equipment in working condition.
- Alerts physics faculty of inoperative or malfunctioning equipment or imminent supply shortages.

Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree; a combination of work and education equaling 4 years may substitute. High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.

- Training in radiation therapy, such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) quality assurance (QA) techniques, is preferred.
