Position Summary
The Cooper lab at WashU is seeking a post-doctoral research fellow with a strong background in wet-lab immunology to work on projects related to understanding the molecular mechanisms of inborn errors of immunity.Job Description

Trains under the supervision of a faculty mentor including (but not limited to):
- Independently design and perform experiments related to identification of genetic mechanisms of inborn errors of immunity, with oversight from PI.
- Write manuscripts describing the findings of your scientific research.
- Accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Assist with writing grant applications for the laboratory, and submit training grant applications to support your work.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the laboratory.
- Meet with Dr. Cooper regularly to review progress and for career development.
Working Conditions:
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range:
Base pay is commensurate with experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in basic Immunology, including first-author original publications.
- Expertise in flow cytometry and other basic immunology techniques.
- Strong writing skills as evidenced by past publications and/or grant awards.
- Expertise in analysis of multi-omics data preferred, including RNA-sequencing.
