Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), Research Coordinator, or Research Clinical Specialist, individual will participate in clinical research study activities; assists in recruitment, screening, and enrollment of appropriate participants into study; performs a variety of duties involved in set-up, collection, and documentation of research data. Contributes to adherence to study protocols and quality of information collected. Promotes professional, ethical, and accurate conduct of study procedures.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participates in the recruitment of study participants as identified in project protocol including explanation of study to participants, screening for eligibility, enrolling and scheduling, and contributing to appropriate follow-up.
- Assists in data collection from study participants, medical records, interviews, questionnaires, and other sources; enters data into study database; performs basic data quality evaluation and prepares appropriate reports and documentation as necessary.
- Completes necessary paperwork/documentation of all phases of study according to study protocol and assists in regular data checks to ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of data.
- Effectively communicates and coordinates with all other study personnel and people at participating facilities on campus and in the community to ensure thorough and effective study implementation.
- Regularly attends all routine meetings and other meetings related to clinical research. Stays up-to-date of any information and any changes to study protocol. Assists in preparation of regular reports to study team.
- Assists with other duties as assigned by research team.

More About This Job
- This position provides flexible working hours that would include early morning/evening availability and occasional weekend hours to accommodate participant schedules and lab requirements/deadlines.
- Work locations include research labs in the Movement Science Research Center at Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM), the Emergency Department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, primary care clinics affiliated with the WUSM campus and primary care clinics that are part of ARCHNet, Saint Louis University Medical School’s practice-based research network.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date
- Basic Life Support certification (Online Basic Life Support certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the Basic Life Support requirements).

$19.21 - $28.85 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
