The Data Quality Specialist reports to the Director of Data Quality and is a full-time position focused on data research, analysis, reporting needs, survey work, and data projects that improve data quality within University Advancement’s Business Intelligence team. Leads special projects related to data quality, research, and analysis. Serves as the coordinator for significant surveys. Utilizes judgment and resourcefulness to ensure data accuracy of alumni and donors in the University’s complex and comprehensive Salesforce-based CRM. Develops, prepares, and distributes various complex reports for University Advancement staff, including leadership. Ensures CRM data integrity through data audits and data loads. Requires strong analytical skills, critical thinking, exceptional attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to stay organized and act proactively.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Project management for data-focused projects
Manage special projects focused on data quality including data audits and data cleanup.
Identify use cases and coordinate across team the execution of batch uploads to CRM to ensure accurate and timely data.
Perform analysis of new and existing reports and data definitions for accuracy; identify discrepancies, opportunities for clarification, and data integrity issues.
Collaborate with database developers (UAS) on data integration projects, data testing, and maintaining data quality.
Create and update decisions, best practice, and process documentation related to data audits and data quality.
Reporting and Surveys
Prepare and validate monthly and quarterly reporting.
Provide backup to the Director of Data Quality on additional special reporting needs, including supporting the EVC office.
Gather and analyze data for significant surveys and present findings to leadership.
Create and update decisions, best practice, and process documentation related to reports and surveys.
Manage ongoing and regular processes, including:
Biographical appends.
Alumni Questionnaires.
Representing Advancement Services/Business Intelligence on appropriate committees.
Perform other duties as assigned.

$58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
