Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Services Consultant to support a Technology line of Business with oversight and governance of operations by monitoring business delivery performance, overall resourcing, financials and operational risk / compliance expectations. Develops metrics and evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives. Overall accountability to provide the LOB leadership team with timely and accurate operational visibility needed to support decision-making. Ensures operational compliance expectations are met and any identified gaps are remediated.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Business with various processes/ coordination of tasks/ tools update/ data tracking and maintenance as appropriate. Some examples are but not limited to Transitions processes and documentation, Hiring pre-approvals and documentation on relevant tools or systems, head count tracking and reconciliation reporting, Vendor management due diligence, Space tracking, and coordination of logistics related to team events.
- Track & monitor status for key operational KPIs related to people, processes, delivery and finance (LOB headcount, local budgets / forecasts, expenditures & financial metrics).
- Consolidate data from multiple sources, query, and analyze the operational trends and provide key insight to help with decision-making.
- Prepare regular dashboards on key operational metrics & KPIs for executive level briefing (CIO dashboard views) that reflect efficiency & effectiveness of the business, present to various stakeholders.
- Monitor business performance against all key parameters identified for operating reviews; assist in MBO Metric reporting along with partners.
- Track the ongoing headcount and run-rate reconciliation, working with LOB leader and Business services/COO teams to ensure accurate financials.
- Ensure optimal AU Mapping, coordinate hiring pre approval (New/Backfill) and any necessary transition activities
- Manage and drive highly complex projects related to budget, business planning, risk-related items, regulatory items, reporting in the region (presentations, speeches), and implementation of policies, standards, processes and/or strategic projects
- Partner closely with Business Services team members to support initiatives and strategy execution
- Interact with key partners across Technology, Finance, Portfolio Governance, HR and IT Procurement.
- Proactively identify gaps and track actions required in delivering the strategic agenda of Business Services team.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives designed to drive efficiency
- Work with leadership team to implement and enforce policies, standards and processes that require in-depth knowledge of business or function roles and organization design
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Manage ad-hoc requests to meet business needs
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in Information Technology in support of Business Management - in developing / managing operational analytics, strategic relationships and coordination with business, stakeholder management
- Ability to influence outcomes and results; ability to connect numbers to scenarios and plans.
- Strong communication skills
- Highly motivated and self-starter.
