Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. is hiring for the position of Senior Software Engineer to lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross-functional businesses and technology teams. Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives. Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives. Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements. Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions. Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables. Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems. Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications: (include education, experience, and technical skills)

Degree required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or related technical field.

Experience required: Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software development.

Specific skills required:

  • Three (3) years of experience with Java/J2EE, Eclipse, and GIT/Maven/Ant
  • Three (3) years of experience with XML, Java Script, HTML, and Ajax
  • Four (4) years of experience with any of Pl/SQL, DB2, and Oracle
  • Two (2) years of experience with following Tomcat, WebSphere, and Linux/Unix
  • Two (2) years of experience with Hibernate and MVC (Spring/Struts)
  • Experience with Autosys and JIRA
  • Experience with SOAP and REST web services
  • Two (2) years of experience with Charles River IMS trading platform for wealth management.
