About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Management Sales Support Analyst and or Merchant Services sales support to join our Merchant Services team as part of Consumer Lending. Wells Fargo’s Consumer Lending line of business includes Home Lending, Auto, Credit Cards, Retail & Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Consumer Lending Control, and Consumer Lending Shared Services.
This individual contributor will be responsible for supporting Merchant Services Commercial and Corporate banking Product Sales Consultants in preparing customized sales proposals, collecting prospective client information, and ensuring completion of merchant customer applications. This position will collaborate with internal bank and/or line of business partners and work directly with clients to solidify requirements for establishing merchant services and/or products.

In this role, you will:
- Participate in gathering and summarizing prospect information for Merchant Services Product Sales consultants
- Communicate with C-suite clients
- Compile and analyze pricing information. Prepare customized sales proposal
- Assist client in completion of merchant services application
- Update pipeline opportunities in sales tool. Assist Product Sales consultants with opportunities by maintaining current and accurate client information
- Prepares documentation to support client implementation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area
- Review and research basic or tactical operational assignments that require evaluation and selection of alternatives, related to low to medium risk deliverables
- Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise some independent judgement while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Provide information to functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal as well as external customers
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Treasury Management Sales Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Merchant Services Sales and/or support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- 1+ year of customer service experience; preferably within the C suite level.
- Experience in sales, sales support, or direct client contact experience preferably in the financial services industry
- Merchant or payments processing experience
- Good project management skills with the ability to multitask and communications skills with C-suite clients
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
- Proven ability to provide strong customer service and develop strong client relationships
Job Expectations:
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $57,700 - $102,700.
Salary/Hourly range is determined by location of the job.
