About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer.


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
    Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment
    Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
    Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains
    Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements
    Exercise some independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements
    Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# .NET, .NET 6/8, and MS SQL Server 2012 onward.
  • UI Development: Build responsive, Modular and dynamic user interfaces using Blazor or Angular.
  • Investment Banking Applications: Work on market data and capital market applications, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • New Projects & Production Support: Develop new features while handling production support issues effectively.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment.
  • Security & Code Quality: Perform and resolve scan fixes using tools like BlackDuck and SonarQube to ensure secure and high-quality code.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and QA teams, to deliver robust software solutions.
  • University Graduate in Engineering or Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to understand team dynamics and use interpersonal skills and personal judgment to achieve goals
  • Should be able to build good rapport with various Project stakeholders (QA, Scrum Master, Product Manager etc.) and other interface developers both in US and India


Job Expectations:

  • Experience in .NET full stack development (Analysis, design, development, testing and delivery of application software).
  • Strong programming skills in C# .NET (preferably .NET 6/8). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a production environment.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server (writing stored procedures, queries, and performance tuning).
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Good experience on UI design and development using Blazor or Angular 2 or above, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Expertise in creating and consuming SOAP & REST web services.
  • Experience with market data, capital markets, or trading applications is plus.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, UDeploy. Familiarity with code scanning and security tools like Black Duck and SonarQube.
  • Understanding of Cloud principles and Micro services. Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.
  • Rich experience with development and maintenance of web applications and enterprise applications
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Should have in-depth understanding of agile software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools, preferably Git and automated unit testing framework Junit.
