About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Operations Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
- Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
- Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
- Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
- Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional experience in IT as well as financial industry.
- 4+ years of experience of working in Risk and Compliance of financial domain.
- Expertise to work in JIRA, Kanban, to be able to exploit JIRA’s features to efficiently manage the workload for large number of stories.
- 2+ Years of experience in automation or scripting (python, ansible etc.). This role demands automating the manual tasks.
- Experience in application/platform vulnerability management.
- 4+ years of business intelligence experience.
- 4+ experience to work in Service Now suite of products such as Business Applications Management, Incident Management.
- Ability of performing data analytics, keen eye, and high attention to the minute details of the data, ability to research and troubleshoot data related issues and providing quality and accurate deliverable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management.
- Working experience in collaboration tools and document management tools such as SharePoint.
- 3+ years of experience working in managed services model as demonstrated through work, military, or education.
- Job Expectations:
- Liaise with line of business partners, technology teams, and application vendor to
- document and troubleshoot issues.
- Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation, planning and direction to resolve complex business
- Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve
- Issues, provide technological solutions, and manage both project schedules and
- deliverables
- Coordinate communication and information between business and technology teams
- Backlog prioritization based on OKR’s and Roadmap priorities.
- Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
- Engage stakeholders and partners associated with the function
