About this role:

Wells Fargo Corporate Security is seeking an Intelligence Specialist on the Corporate Security Intelligence and Risk Analysis (CSIRA) team. This role will support the successful execution of the CSIRA Global Intelligence portfolio.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives

  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations

  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business

  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience

  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures

  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics

  • Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work

  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations

  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables

  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business

  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business

  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management

  • Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of combined experience in corporate security, intelligence, and/or geopolitical risk demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and disseminating security intelligence in support of private sector, government, or law enforcement entities

  • Familiarity with physical security threats and risks facing business operations, preferably across the financial industry, within the United States

  • Strong familiarity with risk intelligence platforms and databases (Foresight, Ontic, Dataminr, Sibylline, etc.)

  • Proven expertise with data collection and visualization via platforms such as ArcGIS, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to conduct research and provide assessments of security risk to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders with minimal oversight

  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions under minimal guidance, including outside of standard working hours as required

Job Expectations:

  • Proactively monitor and evaluate physical security issues in a business context, providing high-quality, relevant, and concise intelligence reporting and analysis to improve security mitigation and support decision-making

  • Research, collect, and analyze physical security threat information from all available sources (OSINT, vendor platforms, internal databases, professional networks, etc.)

  • Compile and disseminate intelligence assessments and conduct briefings on threat activities (protests and civil unrest, geopolitical crises, etc.) that may impact Wells Fargo

  • Serve as a POC and help lead tactical intelligence support during times of crisis or major events

  • Drive the timely delivery of key reporting, update and maintain internal event databases, and ensure compliance with applicable processes, policies, and procedures

  • Develop and maintain close partnerships with peer bank and law enforcement intelligence units to facilitate information sharing and data collection

  • Willingness and ability to support cross-functional intelligence efforts (protective intelligence, geopolitical risk intelligence, criminal intelligence, etc.) as assigned
