About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
- Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
- Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
- Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years' experience troubleshooting environments across the entire ecosystem (i.e. applications to infrastructure), identifying root cause, fixing, and documenting problems, and implementing preventive measures.
- 3+ years' experience on SNOW/ other ticketing system.
- 3+ years' experience with scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python, Groovy).
- 3+ years' experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms (Redhat OCP, AWS, Azure, GCP).
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Need to have Expertise on working under ITIL process model.
- Highly experience in Production support, Application support (L2 and L3).
- Need to have Very good exposure in Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management etc.
- SME in Various Monitoring Tools like Kibana, AppDynamics, Splunk, Thousand Eyes, Grafana etc.
- Extensive experience in SQL Server Database design, Database maintenance Monitoring, Performance Tuning , writing T-SQL queries using SQL Server.
- Good Understanding on CI/CD Deployment process using tools like U Depoly,TFS,Liquibase etc.
- Good Exposure towards ETL Tool SSIS and Monitoring the Jobs Using Autosys (CA7) and its Maintenance.
- Experience in Maintenance of 3-tier Enterprise Web & Windows Application, Windows based services and web services
- Strong experience on IIS, SQL, Production Application Support, Windows & Unix Servers
- Monitoring application health based on pre-defined health check parameters, troubleshooting and perform RCA of high impacting issues.
- Experience in understanding/analyzing the customer impact and communicating them effectively with stake holders emphasizing priority.
- Good experience in DevOps, with focus on Java based applications
- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability across all DevOps processes
