About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Consumer Technology Finance Analyst (Lead Finance Analyst) to be part of the Consumer Technology Finance Team. As part of this team, you will provide comprehensive financial support that includes budgeting, forecasting, analytics and monthly close for the GenAI Technology organization. The individual should be skilled in business case development, forecasting, financial data analysis, and scenario modeling to drive actionable insight. The function requires strong influencing skills and provides the opportunity to demonstrate thought leadership to senior management while partnering with Finance, Technology and Business functions.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with assigned CIO and team to convert technology operating plans into financial P&L and cash spend forecasts and budgets

  • Establish monthly/quarterly/annual operating budget and product reviews / reporting

  • Establish and maintain Gen AI product and pricing guide for infrastructure services

  • Evaluate opportunities for internally developed software (IDS) and take appropriate action

  • Provide input into the investment prioritization process by establishing and enforcing appropriate financial evaluation criteria

  • Review vendor spend requests providing feedback to optimize financial impact

  • Act as a value added business partner to assigned technology team

  • Implement investment post implementation review process to track and evaluate results

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in business case development, forecasting, financial data analysis, and scenario modeling.

  • Experience in technology finance or consumer financial expertise

  • Experience consulting, influencing, and partnering with senior business leaders to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and set expectations in a matrixed environment

  • Leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring

  • Ability to convert technology operational plans into financial terms and explain drivers to impacted business partners

  • Desire to drive process improvements to enhance business outcomes

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to establish processes and financial routines where they do not exist

  • Be self-directed, able to work independently but willing to escalate if needed to resolve issues before negative impacts are realized
