Senior Financial Analyst - Chief Technology Office

This Senior Finance Analyst will be an innovative, transformational change agent reporting to a leader within the Chief Technology Office of the Technology Finance team. The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve with uncertain/ambiguous conditions, have a strong financial technical acumen, and a proven ability to collaborate and develop meaningful relationships. Also, a background in analytics with experience providing insights that drive informed decisions.
In this role, you will:
Financial Planning & Budgeting / Reporting & Analysis
- Develop and manage budgets for technology transformation programs, including cloud migrations, ERP implementations, cybersecurity initiatives, and system upgrades.
- Partner with PMOs, IT, and business units to align financial plans with project roadmaps.
- Produce regular financial reports on project performance, variance analysis, and capital vs. operating expenses.
- Analyze the financial impact of technology investments and ensure alignment with business objectives and monitor program KPIs and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Stakeholder Collaboration / Governance & Compliance / Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with technology leaders, project managers, procurement, and accounting teams to validate financial data and projections.
- Support business case development for new technology initiatives, including cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes related to technology spend and project cost management.
- Support the development of tools and dashboards for real-time financial tracking of transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CPA a plus.
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within IT, technology transformation, or large-scale project environments.
- Strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Excel, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, Anaplan).
- Familiarity with technology cost models (CapEx vs. OpEx), cloud financial management (FinOps), and agile/digital transformation methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Experience with IT finance, technology investments, and digital transformation initiatives preferred.
- IT Finance-specific certifications (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner) are a plus.
