About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst


In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives as a technical professional

  • Provide a broad expertise and unique skills used to develop company objectives and standards

  • Contribute to large scale planning such as economic research in support of management decision making for a business unit

  • Research key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting to support monthly and quarterly forecasting

  • Perform work on significant and unique issues involving data and evaluation or highly complex situations

  • Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning

  • Lead team to meet the implementation of complex projects impacting one or more lines of business

  • Establish effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standard and internal control standards

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Be comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on projects/assigned deliverables

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Ability, knowledge and understanding of implementing processes and leading projects

  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment

  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio) skills

  • Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management

  • Ability to research, analyze, document, and present organizational metrics that drive business decisions

  • Experience on Wells Fargo’s Finance tool sets including, but not limited to FAST, Essbase, and IRIS Web, preferred

  • Ability to demonstrate skills in project management regimens


Job Expectations:

  • Assist/Own key enterprise forecasts including run rate model activities, 401K analysis and rate monitoring, other benefits forecast, etc…

  • Exp forecasting operation activities; Coordination of expense guidance, calendars, LOB support, Training and other ad hoc items.

  • Assist with consolidation activities, including consolidated exp reporting.

  • Assist with Enterprise Analytics for personnel exp including working with EAA Lead Analyst

  • Assist with the EAA team forecast packages and quarterly updates.

  • Tracking and/or leading EAA projects and special initiatives, including efficiency enhancements for the team.

  • Other consolidations, forecast coordination, and governance related activities as needed.
