About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Operations Engineer to provide platform support for Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) organization and the applications and infrastructure they support.The individual will provide technology solutions to the LOBs and manage the applications portfolio in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
- Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
- Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
- Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
- Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
- Manage to support Cross-Asset Risk and PnL Management application that provides risk and PnL on traded positions for various products.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of working in the financial industry especially in the trading environment
- 5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge/Skills/Ability Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: front office technology and systems
- Experience 3+ years of experience supporting trading risk systems, applications or platforms
- Self-motivated to operate independently and make necessary decisions within the global team
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
- Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$115,900.00 - $206,100.00Benefits
