The Homefront Heroes Hiring (HHH) Program is designed to attract and hire spouses and domestic partners of actively serving military personnel to career opportunities through a military spouse-specific virtual hiring event and onboarding program.

The HHH Program is a direct hire program for talented individuals seeking careers in Consumer Lending, Consumer Small Business Banking, Human Resources, Technology, and Wealth Investment Management. Learn more about our program: HHH Program.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Writer to join our Technology Operations team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in technical writing and a working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. You will document operational procedures, supporting implementation efforts, and ensuring the stability and clarity of our technology solutions

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in and support the implementation of business and technology solutions.
  • Document the impact of changes to hardware, software, and operational schedules.
  • Review and update policies, procedures, and tactical issues with clear, concise documentation.
  • Perform daily validations of applications through Article Quality Index (AQI) checks.
  • Assess the impact of new applications on business operations and document strategies.
  • Contribute to reducing the impact of application and infrastructure failures through clear documentation and process improvement.
  • Present documentation and recommendations for resolving complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with technology managers, functional teams, and stakeholders to gather and disseminate technical information.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 6+ months in technical writing experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Technology Operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ServiceNow.
  • Experience writing grants, editing technical content, and/or drafting proposals.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience creating documentation and procedure manuals for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience writing for IT Service Desk environments and virtual agent formats.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Request best practices (ITIL certification a plus).

Job Expectations:

  • HHH Program Hires are expected to attend and participate in the Military Spouse Homefront Heroes Orientation and Onboarding Experience.
  • Ability to work on-site at approved location listed
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
