In this role, you will:

  • Perform moderately complex to complex tax accounting activities related to the preparation of federal, state and local customer information tax reporting returns, including impacts of withholding and tax form validations.
  • Prepare comprehensive tax work papers, perform account analysis, and prepare responses to internal information requests.
  • Embody and model compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
  • Develop knowledge of federal and state and local customer information reporting tax laws, rulings, and regulations.
  • Perform basic income tax research.
  • Maintain required records related to customer information reporting tax processes and reports.
  • Work with moderate to minimal supervision
  • Provide functional advice to less experienced staff.
  • Consult on customer tax related matters with lines of business and other control partners.
  • Develop relationships with assigned business units related to the collection and analysis of information important to compliance.
  • Work with business partners to collect internal tax data, perform data analysis, test for accuracy, identify and resolve data problems.
  • Participate in projects.
  • Communicate and provide consultation regularly with mid-level stakeholders companywide.


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 2+ years of Corporate Tax, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Customer Tax Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with tax form validation, withholding and reporting requirements related to IRS customer tax reporting.

  • advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills

  • Experience in tax operations, tax risk mitigation, or tax compliance in a large financial institution

Work Schedule:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$63,600.00 - $113,000.00
