About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Java Full Lead Software Engineer within the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) team - the Corporate Risk, Risk Measurement Platform Team. This team focuses on providing functionality to a centralized platform to enable consistent identification, measurement, monitoring, reporting, and control of material risks across all businesses and risk types covered by the Enterprise Risk Measurement Program. The selected candidate will be experienced in application team leadership, development and maintenance. Candidate will strive to provide creative or innovative, yet practical solutions to the organization
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of Java
- 5+ years of front-end web development
- 7+ years of relational database experience such as SQL server
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
- Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of AJAX, metadata-driven architecture, Hibernate ORM, Spring MVC, Tiles Workflow management systemsOAuth 2.0Tomcat
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology
- Knowledge of JIRA
- Cloud certification or experience such as PCF, AZURE or GCP
