The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Diverse Segments Representation and Inclusion, Legal, and Public Affairs business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Workplace Technology. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.
Within EFT we are seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Services Consultant to support Wells Fargo Technology space and other lines of businesses within Wells Fargo. This role will focus on Technology Business Services with responsibility for financial management of the Finance Technology investments, driving fiscal discipline, transparency, and value realization across the portfolio. This role is accountable for overseeing financial planning, execution, analytics, and governance.
In this role, you will:
- Lead annual budget planning and forecasting process and governance for Finance Technology
- Partner with technology leaders, product, and finance to understand strategic priorities and translate into financial plans
- Develop financial models that capture cost drivers, resource allocation, and strategic funding requirements
- Analyze spend trends and identify opportunities across software, hardware, and services
- Collaborate with procurement and vendor management to assess vendor contracts
- Partner with Finance to prepare and present monthly and quarterly variance analysis
- Track actuals vs. forecast and provide actionable insights to technology leadership
- Create and manage executive-level dashboards and scorecards that synthesize actuals, variances, and trends
- Serve as the liaison between Finance, Technology, and Business Units
- Translate complex financial information into business-friendly terms for non-finance stakeholders
- Leads executive presentations with financial insights
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of experience with PowerBI or Tableau
- 5+ years of experience with financial modeling, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience, in IT or technology finance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with financial planning and analysis supporting Information Technology group
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced-level experience with MS Excel
- Familiarity with technology portfolio management, agile funding models, and cloud cost management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and prepare clear and concise documentation
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, build relationships with stakeholders, and drive consensus on solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements
- Ability to lead team(s) across all organizational levels; partnering with business leaders to achieve key goals through flexibility and adaptability
Job Expectations:
