Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Support ongoing technical and business enhancements related to Customer Information Reporting/Online Statements/Notices. The candidate will be responsible for leading the

design/development/maintenance of new and existing system solutions. Development of ongoing enhancements of business workflows is a primary focus of this position. Support for line of business activities is also a critical expectation. Must be an excellent individual contributor as well as having the capability to lead small teams of employees and consultants. This individual will break down work and assist in making assignments to other team members, as well as assisting management in ensuring that all systems are compliant with corporate standards. They will follow the change management process and ensure that the application will pass any technical audit. Collaborating with other technical areas, they will integrate across platforms and responsibilities. The developer will be required to communicate and interact with various levels of business leaders to help define and understand requirements and will act as a senior technologist for complex payments system projects.

Required Qualifications:

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in applied computer science, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

  • 4 years of JavaEE experience
  • 4 years of Core Java experience
  • 4 years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 3 years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 3 years of web development experience for customer facing applications
  • 2 years of experience in Agile or Kanban project methodology
  • Knowledge and understanding of application or software security such as: web application penetration testing, secure code review, secure static code analysis

Salary: $131,739 - $179,200

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
