Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Develop Solution Architecture for Enterprise Strategic Risk technology solutions. Adhere to team standards, processes, work-flows, and schedules. Partner with Architects, Developers, and Senior Managers to develop technology roadmap. Approach development and production issues methodically. Work on multiple complex issues and projects. Design and build solutions using open architecture. Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications. Create complex industry-leading user interface design solutions. Serve as design "advocate" with the ability to forecast and assess industry trends and their impact on the company's product design alternatives. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards. Build alliances with the lines of business, technical operations, and architecture teams to achieve strategic objectives. Provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Position requires Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

  • 5 years of SQL experience;
  • 5 years of development experience with languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or R;
  • 3 years of ETL, data warehouse and data analytics delivery experience on internal or external cloud platforms;
  • 2 years of fiduciary experience; and
  • 1 year of Tableau experience.
