About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager within the Buyer/Supplier and Payer Platforms group in the Payables Organization that specializes in developing and managing innovative platforms that streamline interactions between buyers and suppliers, as well as payer workflows, to facilitate procure-to-pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
This person will lead the product strategy and execution for Accounts Payable (AP) automation within the Buyer/Supplier and Payer Platforms group, driving the integration of emerging solutions into Wells Fargo’s digital banking platforms.
This role focuses on leveraging in-house solutions, APIs and partnerships to deliver seamless buyer-supplier interactions and payer workflows, targeting enterprises, mid-market firms, SMEs, and B2B clients. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with expertise in B2B payments, fintech, and product management, capable of achieving client adoption and revenue growth.
In this role, you will:
Product Strategy & Vision:
Define the product vision for AP automation within the Buyer/Supplier and Payer Platforms group
Develop a roadmap to integrate P2P and AP solutions solving critical friction points in our client’s operations.
Tailor solutions for client segments (SMB to Enterprise)
Partnership & Integration Management:
Lead partnerships with AP automation providers and integration execution
Lead vendor selection, vendor onboarding,
Collaborate with IT teams to embed platforms in Wells Fargo’s digital banking infrastructure, ensuring seamless client experience
Go-to-Market Execution:
Develop go-to-market strategies, including pilots launched, General availability, marketing campaigns, and internal training.
Design monetization models: transaction fees, subscriptions, and embedded financing (e.g. virtual card rebates).
Stakeholder Engagement & Innovation:
Collaborate with GPL Leadership, Digital, Sales, Risk and Compliance teams
Represent Wells Fargo in industry forums, positioning the bank as a leader in B2B payment automation.
Maintain connectivity to Fintech market, continually assessing partnership opportunities
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Experience managing fintech/SaaS partnerships.
Background in commercial banking or treasury services, with expertise in ACH, wire, and virtual card payments.
Success launching API-driven products in AP/P2P automation (e.g., SAP Ariba, Tipalti integrations).
Desired Qualifications:
B.A./B.S. degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Deep knowledge of AP processes (invoice capture, three-way matching, compliance) and P2P workflows.
Familiarity with Agentic AI applications (e.g., autonomous invoice processing, fraud detection).
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, using tools like Jira or Confluence.
Expertise in API integration (REST, OAuth 2.0, ISO 20022) and microservices architecture.
Strong data-driven decision-making, tracking KPIs (e.g., DPO, adoption rates).
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management, influencing C-suite and cross-functional teams.

Pay Range for New York, NY & San Francisco Bay Area: $133,300.00 - 237,100.00 annually
Pay Range for Minneapolis, MN: $111,100.00 - 197,500.00 annually
