About this role:

We are looking for a visionary and hands-on technical leader to lead the Architecture, Application Infra Engineering & Invariant Platforms within Consumer Technology Architecture & Engineering Group. This leader will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology strategy and execution for enterprise-grade platforms and systems that operate at scale. The person will also lead the Invariant workflow and rules Platforms providing hands on tech leadership.

As a senior technology leader, you will combine deep engineering expertise with strong delivery capabilities. You’ll lead high-performing teams to drive innovation, establish technical excellence, and deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing systems with a strong emphasis on both functional and non-functional requirements.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership across Application Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, and Invariant Platform Engineering functions.

  • Architect and deliver scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise systems using modern cloud-native technologies and patterns.

  • Define and evolve engineering practices, architecture frameworks, and development standards to improve code quality, scalability, and system performance.

  • Define and deliver common reusable frameworks, components which can be leveraged and implemented at scale.

  • Drive initiatives related to Non-Functional Engineering (e.g., High Availability, Low Latency, Observability, Resilience, Performance, and Scalability).

  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and AI/ML capabilities to support innovation and future growth.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Security, DevOps, and Business teams to align technical delivery with business objectives.

  • Mentor and grow a diverse team of engineering and architecture leaders, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.

  • Oversee delivery governance and ensure engineering timelines, quality benchmarks, and performance KPIs are consistently met.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 5 years in a technology leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven experience building and scaling large enterprise applications and platforms in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and API-driven development.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns, modern development frameworks, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience in Workflow, Business Process Management (BPM) and Rules platforms
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional, global engineering teams and managing large-scale project deliveries.
  • Hands-on understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) including performance engineering, Resiliency, HA/DR, observability, and fault tolerance.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and modern observability stacks.
  • Exposure to AI/ML technologies or interest in driving AI/ML initiatives across engineering solutions is a plus.

Job Expectations:

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, SAFe, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data engineering, API management platforms, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience in delivering Gen AI and Agentic AI based solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
