About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) to support the team’s efforts in the design, development, automated testing, implementation, and adoption of products and delivery of applications and project initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives on selected domains

  • Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk

  • Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost

  • Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies

  • Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature

  • Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives

  • Mentor less experienced software engineers

  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers

  • Lead team to achieve objectives

  • Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of development experience with languages including Python

  • 5+ years of experience creating and developing test automation frameworks

  • 5+ years of experience with Behavior-driven Development (BDD) tools including Behave and Cucumber

  • 5+ years of unit testing experience utilizing Test-driven Development (TDD) with tools including Pytest

  • 5+ years of experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in large, fast-paced organizations with many moving parts

  • Experience working in an Agile product environment

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of issue and change management processes

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$191,000.00 - $305,000.00
