Wells Fargo is seeking a motivated, client centric, sales and originations professional to partner with commercial and underwriting organizations to support new lending opportunity development, internal transaction review and decisioning and growth advancement in a large. fast paced, structured deal environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in sourcing new clients or growing existing relationships in a given product or specialty

  • Understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within the context of individual deals and client relationships

  • Lead moderately complex transactions in partnership with coverage teams for specialty products, including by analyzing potential opportunities, structuring, proposing, and selling tailored financial solutions to clients; lead internal coordination and submit transactions to management or independent risk for approval

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives

  • Independently resolve moderately complex issues while leveraging a solid understanding of relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Partner with product management functional partners to provide feedback on evolving market needs to enable the innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions more effectively

  • Contribute to large-scale planning related to a given product or specialty’s business objectives


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in underwriting or portfolio management

  • 4+ years of commercial underwriting experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or related field

  • Completed a formal credit training program and/or classes

  • Financial Analysis experience

  • Advanced experience in MS Office suite of products (Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Experience in client facing role with focus on problem solving and/or client experience


Job Expectations:

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$100,000.00 - $196,000.00
