About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Engineering experience building and supporting large scale customer facing products using modern technologies.
- Building and delivering products using AI technologies.
- Strong proficiency in React JS with advanced concepts
- Solid experience with TypeScript in large-scale applications.
- Experience with Oracle DB and/or NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of composite web services and API integration.
- Exposure to Python for scripting and data engineering tasks.
- Deep knowledge of implementing guardrails and advanced techniques for query enrichment and re-writing
- Experience with Pandas and handling large datasets.
- Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience integrating AI Builder or Generative AI capabilities into applications or workflows.
- Familiarity with Playwright or similar automation tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (OpenShift, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially in cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to work across multiple teams and functions to drive alignment and execution.
Job Expectations
- Develop and maintain advanced front-end applications using React JS and TypeScript.
- Build and integrate robust backend services using Java Spring Boot.
- Design and implement integrations with Oracle DB and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate composite web services and APIs.
- Utilize Python for data processing, automation, and system integrations.
- Apply Pandas and other Python libraries to handle large datasets efficiently.
- Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
- Implement automation testing using Playwright
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code across the stack
