About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and support global treasury activities including funding, liquidity risk management, asset and liability management, capital management, financial performance management, and related activities

  • Monitor and evaluate global market conditions and provide overall advisory on treasury finance risk

  • Be responsible for complex reporting and analytics on treasury finance metrics

  • Ensure accurate recurring deliverables are completed and compliant with various treasury risk management regulatory requirements

  • Ensure data quality and establish controlled processes

  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting and consulting firms

  • Make recommendations to more experienced group members and management

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal customers

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • University degree preferably in Finance, Economics, and Mathematics/technical related field, MBA Finance preferred

  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented accuracy; reporting/analytics at major financial institution preferred

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills

  • Familiarity working with JIRA

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or large-scale individual projects, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic thinking

  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other businesses and functional areas to accomplish business goals

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Effectively present/explain complex analysis to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership


Job Expectations:

  • Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions

  • Experience with working on change management methodologies

  • Any Project management certification

  • Good understanding of SQL, and experience with Dremio, HIVE or other database management applications; big data experience preferred

  • Proven experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and visualization tools to analyze financial data and support strategic decision-making

Enterprise Change Management (ECM) Support:

  • Manage and maintain the Enterprise Change Management (ECM) registry, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

  • Log and track all changes within the ECM system, adhering to established procedures.

  • Verify that all changes are compliant with documented requirements and JIRA standards.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to project teams regarding ECM processes and procedures.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of ECM documentation and training materials.

Project Management Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and reports (decks).

  • Facilitate and attend project meetings and accurately capture meeting minutes and action items.

  • Provide general administrative and logistical support to the PMO team.

  • Assist with project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.

  • Support the PMO in maintaining project management tools and templates

  • Independently work with project stakeholders to document required project artifacts and maintain as needed

Data Governance & Reporting solution

  • Profile data to recommend and implement data quality rules to ensure adherence to the data governance framework, internal policies and business strategies.

  • Participate in establishing and/or improving data quality and metadata metrics by developing new controls, rules and strategies to prioritize and remediate data quality issues.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Treasury reporting, responsible for complex analytics, report development, and automation initiatives

  • Lead targeted automation projects while guiding other teammates, in coordination with technology partners

  • Provide overall advisory on treasury finance and risk strategies
