About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager – Deposit Pricing to join the Consumer & Business Deposits Financial Product team. This team is responsible for developing product value propositions, experiences, and go-to market strategies that drive customer and balance growth with high customer satisfaction. As a key member of the Deposit Financial Product team, you will help evaluate competitor pricing tactics, develop internal pricing strategies, and work with the Savings and CD Product Leads to develop and build products and solutions that are relevant for customers and competitive in the marketplace. In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the Deposit Pricing strategy and strategic focus for Savings & CD products that meet the needs of our everyday customers.

  • Work closely with the Finance, Branch, & Marketing organizations to understand current market trends, competitive solutions, and how Wells Fargo products are priced in the market

  • Work closely with Marketing to develop and create competitive CD or Savings offerings.

  • Analyze customer needs, market dynamics, trends, regulatory requirements, and risk management to inform product, solution, and experiences we deliver

  • Develop and influence business plans and metrics, requirements, and change implementations across multiple groups

  • Articulate product vision, define scope, establish goals, and provide direction on building, changing, and managing deposit products, solutions, and experiences

  • Engage, collaborate, and influence leaders, stakeholders, partners, subject matter experts, project managers and delivery teams companywide

  • Provide data analysis and reporting relative to Savings and CD products and services


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a pricing role preferably in banking.

  • Prior experience in finance or a similar role that required data analysis

  • Demonstrated experience with creating strategies and building products and solutions tailored to unique customer needs

  • Knowledge and understanding of product or program management: strategies and management of products ranging from concepts in ideation through to market delivery

  • Strong ability to assess market and competitive conditions and to develop creative, breakthrough approaches supporting improved customer experiences and operational efficiencies

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver presentations to senior leaders

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with the ability to create clear and compelling presentations with exceptional strategic “storytelling” skills.

  • Detail oriented with solid analytical skills and ability to synthesize data to make decisions

  • Proven track record of delivering results

  • Strong relationship management, influencing, operational and execution skills with a proven ability to influence, educate and advocate for an idea or vision and gain alignment.

  • Self-starter with high energy and motivation who works well independently and can lead cross-functional teams including corporate executives, channels, marketing, operations, technology, and other business partners.

  • Strong sense of urgency and results oriented with the ability to motivate teams and mobilize resources

    Salary Range:

    Minnesota: $119,000- $206,000 annually

    California: $131,000 - $224,000 annually

    Actual salary is determined by location, experience and qualifications of the job.

    Pay Range

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

    $119,000.00 - $224,000.00
